Yanovskaya/Lukash are done, he retired, she is looking for a partner

Gurgen Vardanian: Anna Yanovskaya / Adam Lukash had split. The main reason was not making it to the Olympics - they were named as substitute and Adam lost his motivation. He had been telling me for a while he felt they would not participate. In the end he lost the will to keep practicing and setting the new goals. At the same time he met his love -a Russian girl. They got married and decide to stay in Moscow.
Anna wants to keep skating and we are looking for a partner for her. Of course it's tough. She is coaching but she dreams to go back to sports'
According to MatchTv Yanovskaya and Sergey Mozgov became coaches in `A Blue Bird' school and are coaching together.

Galustian is still attempting to become and ice dancer and is still looking for a partner. The rink where her parents worked was closed down and she had to move to another rink. She worked a bit with Nikolai Morozov who inspired her to try the ice dance. She worked as a waitress for several month in between. She had a bad back injury and a stress fracture, she can't do the quads and she thinks it's not enough to land a 3/3 and only do toeloops and salchows in order to remain competitive

Thanks for starting this thread @TAHbKA! I've been meaning to for quite a while now but kept procrastinating! :D (I had a long post with the 2022 Grand Prix assignments of all the OES skaters without country-specific news threads in GSD all ready to go and then lost it , but will attempt to reconstruct it in this thread soon.)

Last year I started the OES news thread with the link to the Swiss national team(s) - here's s the link to the 2022-23 teams (French version):

Top tier includes 2 men & 2 women:
Lukas Britschgi
Alexia Paganini
Nurullah Sahaka
Yasmine Kimiko Yamada

Niina Petrokina attempted a 3A in her FS - she shared a clip on her IG story. Fell, but she's definitely attempting to up her TES.

Regina Schermann was the only Senior woman there. No senior Men.
Ignateva/Szemko won ID. New couple Hancock/Fourati were on par with them (ahead in the RD) on TES.

Lakernik was there as technical controller for single events.

Lucy Hancock/Ilias Fourati are a new team. Lucy from GBR previously skated with Billy Wilson-French and Ilias with Emily Monaghan. The ISU Bio lists Ilias as a Ph.D student and born in the US. They train with Melissa Gregory and Denis Petukhov in Newington, CT.

They didn't end up making the trip to NYC.
Luc Maierhofer switched to Pairs too.
The new Austrian pair team of Luc Maierhofer & Italy's Giorgia Ghedini recently trained for several weeks in Colorado Springs with the World Arena Skating Academy pairs group - the WASA Pairs account has shared an excerpt of their new SP that was filmed there: https://www.instagram.com/reel/CixsTc0D0xD/

Switzerland has a new pair - Pauline Irman and Ben Jalovick (U.S. senior singles competitor who's new to pairs) - clip of their 2022-23 SP to "Seven Nation Army’" by Gaullin and Julian Perretta: https://www.instagram.com/reel/CitEtmCD7oR/

Our Swiss team recently flew To Switzerland for their Senior Pair Skating test. @paulirm_ & @benjanskii were able to showcase their new free skate for the very first time in front of the Swiss Ice Skating Federation. Big thanks to @severin_kiefer for helping to put them on the ice for this important event!💫

@benjanskii was also able to enjoy a few days visiting this beautiful country. Onward!

Good luck to these two in their upcoming adventure as a pair team!

What were you offered for switching to Georgia?

Karina Safina: Georgian citizenship and, most importantly, the opportunity to participate in international competitions. Thanks to this, we got a chance to go to the Olympic Games, junior and senior World Championships, European Championships, Grand Prix stages. I would not have participated in these competitions if I had stayed in Russia.
Ain't that the truth?! :p

Solene Mazingue posted this update video on her IG earlier today. While preparing for Finlandia, she took a bad fall in practice and required surgery, which is why they haven't been competing this fall. She says they're working their way back to competition soon.

Good to hear something about them. That accident sounds really bad, but I'm glad she's doing better.

Morisi Kvitelashvili moved to Egna (Magri, Turenko, etc)
I'm pretty sure that Anastasia Gubanova has relocated to Finland - she was tagged by Oona Ounasvuori leaving from the Helsinki airport for MKJW earlier this week and it said something like "I'll miss you while you're gone" (can't remember off the top of my head).
