Freaky Websites

Thought I would start another thread focused purely for entertainment during the off season. I love English, Welsh and Scottish history from William the Conqueror and the Tudor dynasty, but I've begun branching out into periods before and afterwards. This YouTube channel takes these historic periods, recounting key events during royal reigns and supporting nobility. It goes onto pairing that with portraits and effigies done at that point in time and uses CGI to show an accurate rendering of what individuals actually looked like. What is freaky, is that the eyes and mouths move! BTW, it also covers other countries and periods of time, etc.

Wow, those are fascinating. These lead me to another YouTube channel with modern interpretations of two of my historic faves, Anne Boleyn and Marie Antoinette. I’m hooked!

I found another site with a woman who builds anatomically correct faces that fully move. Really freaky. If I find it again, I'll post it. I think it was the face of Elizabeth I.

I visited huggingface.co to play with the DALL•E mini. I typed in ‘Michelle Kwan by Renoir’ and then ‘Grace Kelly flying a kite’ with mixed results.
