Samodurova has obvious limitations but that was great. I'm a sucker for a half-baked voidy program.
Well, second. I think Ksenia went clean.First clean skate in this event. Good job by Sofia Samodurova.
You’re still confusing skaters. I’m now convinced that you actually watched Valieva and had no idea it was Valieva.67 for Sofia. I thought she would be second, but a fall on 3A (Tsibinova) gives more points than a clean 2A. Somehow that bothers me.
Tsibinova didn't do a 3A. That was Valieva. Tsibinova was clean.67 for Sofia. I thought she would be second, but a fall on 3A (Tsibinova) gives more points than a clean 2A. Somehow that bothers me.
It makes me sad she won't get a chance at a junior world title this year. This didn't work for me. I couldn't get the fact that she is 14 out of my mind.
Well, Kolyada's skating skills are great...For as good of a jump technician Mishin is, his skaters and their step sequences are always a chore. So labored, no pulls with the edges, always a bit off balance regardless of who it is. He’s obviously not going to change anything at this point of his career, but a basics coach would do wonders.
It’s different when he’s mid 20’s and just went to Mishin.Well, Kolyada's skating skills are great...
Koylada has demonstrated that a skater who already has those basics should go to Mishin later in their career. There are others I'd love to see do the same. For as good of a jump technician Mishin is, his skaters and their step sequences are always a chore.
