I rewatched but I didn't see either of them slip. They are truly a class above.
 
I just don't get the level 2 on the midline, they lost a point on this I think because the TES was at nearly 87 when they got off the ice and then dropped to 45,84. I think that is the best non touching they have ever had, better than last year. Anyway, I hope they can feel a bit less nervous tomorrow especially Guillaume who did feel a bit tense because Gaby is just such a star and so sexy out there, smoldering in her lovely green dress. Please keep it, way too many red and black dresses out there.

Gabi had a more intense and dramatic approach to expression today. Not sure I necessarily prefer it to the previous, more sublimated one but a nice variation. I thought maybe Guillaume's exit on the twizzles was a bit rushed but I don't think that warranted a downgrade. Their costumes---whatever they color choose, always the most elegant cut and fabric in the competition!

ETA: Just saw a fancam and Guillaume's twizzles were perfect. That L3 was a very subjective call. And, Gabi's dress's left "breast plate" is actually a slightly different shade and fabric? Beautiful detail.

Can we talk about how multitalented they both are, especially Guillaume. I know he always designs both their costumes and no matter what they always come out looking stunning, they are consistently well dressed (since they broke out onto the scene in 2015). Guillaume also choreographed a program (Vanessa and Morgans SP) which won euros. They are both true artists and athletes. Just wow!

you know, looking at this angel and then looking back at the broadcast video, it looks like the forceful/dramatic way he came out of the last set (from that original angel) looks like a slight slip/step out. but it doesn't look that way at all from the angel in this fan cam video. thanks for sharing that!

Please let me know that I'm not the only one here who really wants Gabriella to bring back the gray and pink. I just love the color juxtaposition. I find it more interesting to look at when she's moving and making those shapes. With the all pink, I find her fading behind Guillaume. I also think the pink and gray adds to the character she's playing and makes me think it's something some one in real life would wear while the all pink looks more like a costume.

Absolutely agree, way more interesting because this is quite a pale pink so on the ice it totally fades away. But they killed that FD today, I hope someone send this version to Rachael Yamagata because it is much better than IDF imo.

What can I say. I have no words... Their skating is out of this world...
But I also prefer their FD costumes of IdF. Hers but also his. Of course they both can wear everything they want, it always fits them. But I esp. love her IdF costume...

Once again: thank you, Gabriella and Guillaume for this competition with two outstanding performances! Love you!

No, you're not. In my opinion, both their programs at Euros this year were amazingly done and to think they're going to improve for the Worlds... my only 'protest' is for the costumes change: as much as I love the new dress for the RD, I strongly hope Gabi will bring back the grey skirt. Pretty please.
 
What I'm happy about is we finally have a thread this season at the right time to gush about them, remember when they debuted their programs at IDF and we were thread orphans. Anyway, to answer @VIETgrlTerifa about why P/C fans get stressed I can only answer for myself on this competition but it was the fall during practice. As a result, I was stressed till they got through that lift during the live competition. Then Dostani happened but I was more worried about them messing up a big element plus Nikita falling didn't help my fears you know the old "ice is slippery" ...
 
Has anyone else noticed that they've added a soft cello sound at the very beginning of the free dance? I might be mistaken, but I guess they did that to make the music transition in the middle more effective. If that's so, it definitely works for me. Plus, I guess I'd never say no to a cello. :D

Gabriella said at the PC that they like their new costumes better and that they develop everything of the programs. So the costumes, too. She said her new costumes fits the Story better.

I noticed it after you mentioned it. It sounded like the intro to the second song. It wasn't included prior to this competition?
