NBC Calgary 88

This may sound silly but my recording of the free dance was marred by my local channel messing up. I was wondering if the Calgary 88 thing is an actual upcoming program or was just a filler piece?

I wish it were an actual program; however, I believe that it was a filler.

My guess is that it was a trailer for a feature that will air during NBC’s Olympic coverage.

That was my same question too, I think that it will be a special that will be broadcasted somehow during the pre competition for the ladies or something because why take that time and make interviews (Witt was also there) to just produce a 1 minute filler?

I'm thinking maybe it will be a special feature near the end of the Games where they need to fill time, similar to the "Nancy and Tonya" story they did in 2014.

I believe it's the movie that they (NBC) make just in case there are some weather issues or some other reasons that disrupt the programming. In 2002 it was the Peggy & Dorothy movie (wish I could find that on You Tube) and in 2014 it was the Tonya/Nancy saga ...

If they don't need it beforehand, it usually airs the night of the closing ceremony.

I'm watching. It's interesting, some video footage I've never seen and interviews with basically everyone involved in the Brian's/Katarina/Debi camps. I'm not sure when the interviews took place, but Debi looks much better. Although just now they had a segment where Debi (jokingly but you can tell she's a bit serious in her mind) says that Nike stole "Just Do It" from her because she said it right before her SP performance. LOL.

Most of these shows aired on the Olympic Channel/NBCSN are repeated infinitely.

I heard him say he had two gold medalists at the Olympics.

Great program - lots of new interviews with skaters and coaches. Debi looked better, they showed he seeing her son for the first time in a long while. But she’s still doing the Karats thing.

Brian explained about his decision to come out before Sochi. Katarina was her usual self.
