I am sorry but at the end of the day... It is figure skating and most of us are fans. Yes we love it, but personalizing others opinions is silly.

That said... so sad to see Tessa and Scott go. 4 more skates....Wish it was 2010 again...lmfao

If go according to forecast, hopefully *fingers crossed* on Friday evening it will be as low as -9oC. Pretty sure Canada will have provided atheletes adequate winter gear for much colder temp, especially during the ceremony or being outdoors in general. Here's to wishing all keeping warm and especially good health throughout the games :)

LOL. I don't know how heated jackets work, I assume they would not require the same amount of insulation. I did once have a chance to try out one of my friends' heated gloves for skiing during a cold snap and they were amazing.

I woke up this morning, thinking yesterday was just a dream. Lol Then I remembered and got mad. I was thinking like how could the original lift which they've presented since HPC not be flagged as uncomely all season knowing it's Olympics year? And looking at the panel of judges (in the documentary), they were mostly ladies of 45+ years and above of age. Are they not real judges for competitions? For those who've been bashing about the song choice/lift not realize that it's also them who approved of it and its content/material? Wouldn't the v/m coaches too would have voiced this concern as well? Sorry just ranting ....

Thanks kittysk8ts for those articles.

Given v/m's experience, without a doubt they'll execute the modified lift as it should. Just a bit nervous...since they hope to not leave any points off table/ice, etc and unknown how it will be judged given it's a last minute suggestion. Guess we'll know on Feb12th when they debut it.

Btw, I love Tessa's new black practice outfit. All those Amateur and professional (candid) photos of them since they landed ... So beautiful and divine :)
 
I was never a huge fan of the lift although recognizing the difficulty for sure ... I’m not worried about their tweaks and I don’t think Didier had anything to do with it. I fully trust in their decisions.

I assume they aren’t going to Worlds?

3:00 am? I thought it was 5 am for PST. I’m so confused with all these different times. Someone said team Canada comes out at 7:15 ET. Either way that’s not happening for me I’ll catch the replay. BTW I feel like a bad American for not feeling more invested in our team. Ah it’s ok I’ll just root for Mikaela Shiffrin or something lol.

Don't give me too much credit. I usually get up at this time for work and I'm off right now, so easy to do. Getting nervous now.
