Hopefully not. As an fs fan, I immediately (selfishly) worry about South Korea's ability to securely stage the OWG a few months from now. Four years ago, there was so much concern about Sochi, Russia's ability to stage the Games (in that case, due to tardy construction). This is far more serious, IMO, yet the sporting world doesn't seem to be that concerned.

It's nice to shrug shoulders and state "Let's ignore the North and go on with the Games. They want us to cower; let's not give them that satisfaction." Who really wants to test that out, if the current situation doesn't improve in 5-6 months?

Yes indeed, in the extremely unlikely event that my daughter should be selected for South Korea, I would be incredibly nervous and would not want her to go. No matter how much the Olympics are a once in a life time opportunity for most athletes, no event is more important than your safety.

Perhaps they should consider a back up plan to either move, or delay the games for the safety of everyone involved. I always thought it was short sighted to award them to S. Korea without a proper plan back-up in place...
