She has said she is not going to compete this season. So test skates aren't an option in any case.

Nobody called her overweight for regular life. Only for competition; her fans got alarmed, when they saw her recent fotos. She might be out of shape and not competition ready but she's definitely not overweight. :/
What? when sha said that?
Lord help me, if that's overweight, I'm grossly obese.
Lipnitskaya announced herself that she is moving on. In several recent interviews Lipnitskaya said “I am looking to find myself in areas outside of sport. I need to start studying, to learn new things and to develop myself as a person”.

Yes, Proklova is done. She has no chance with singles. For that she would need full set of triples and be consistent, which she didn't manage when she tried coming back as singles a few years back. Then she tried pairs, she even had a reasonably good partner, who waited for her to heal another of her injuries, but it seems that it was too much for her physically and putting too big strain on her back.( If I understand correctly, that's where is is getting often injured.) So I don't think there is much hope for singles or pairs career. Although she hasn't tried ice dance yet. Personally I think it is too late for ice dance. Is ... Proklova... officially out of singles and/ or pairs?!

Is there any official post/proof by her or any coaches/fed officials about this?Yes, Proklova is done.
No. Oleg Vasiliev said in his interview back in May that she will most likely retire as pair skating turned out to be more difficult for her than she expected in the beginning. Is there any official post/proof by her or any coaches/fed officials about this?
Thanks for clarification. It's not easy to remain up to dateNo. Oleg Vasiliev said in his interview back in May that she will most likely retire as pair skating turned out to be more difficult for her than she expected in the beginning.

I like Yulia's attitude. Staying underweight just to please fans and media is insecure and immature and she seems to be neither. She is not tall and 37 kilos is underweight even if it is considered desireable for a female skater. She looks normal now and anyone calling her overweight now would call me obese at 50 kilos which is about 110 lbs.
Well, Gracie is in the same boat and yet her fans seem to think she'll be ready to compete in a couple months.
I posted an interview here with her first coach some weeks ago and she said Yulia was still recovering from an injury but still planned to compete (she is in regular contact w/Yulia's mother). Maybe she has changed her mind since then, but there has been no official announcement that she is retiring. She's only 19. Who says she can't lose weight if she wants and come back later on if her injury is healed? Isn't that exactly what Adelina is planning to do?
Good lord Annaif she doesn't make the Olympic team it'll be a crime against humanity. The world deserves to see beautiful people like her, all she has to do is take her starting position and she'll gain soooo many new fans.

nobody else can say that
Their competition is a lot different.Well, Gracie is in the same boat and yet her fans seem to think she'll be ready to compete in a couple months.
Their competition is a lot different.
I'm saying that nobody is assuming she retired just because she put on some pounds and is jumping 1As, so why is anyone assuming Yulia is especially since she has the excuse of being injured? Could she retire? Sure...but nowhere has she said that yet. People are jumping to conclusions because she said she needs to study and find interests outside of sports. Plenty of skaters study and it's never too early to make plans for your future career. Especially if she can't train for awhile.
Alena Leonova is still competing, so there's certainly still room for an OGM winner to come back if she is willing and able.
