Now Aubrey's gone from a pretty secure position to a terrible one - even Joe will be super pissed at her.

I was wondering why Aubrey didn't throw Joe a sop by initially voting for Julia and forcing the tie. Then, before the second vote, she could have stated that she kept her word for the first vote, but she had make no promises about the second vote and felt free to switch.

So my pick got voted out, can't say I'm sorry because he was getting on my nerves, too. Great timing, though; according to our rules, I can change or make another pick once before the merge. So I picked Aubry - she's in a precarious position I know, but I like her for some reason. She reminds me of that one winner a few seasons ago, I think her name was Sophy or something? The pre-med student who spoke Russian. Hubby is feeling confident it's Michelle. I just hope they get rid of Scot and "probably one of the best bounty-hunters in south-eastern Michigan". I don't like bullies

So I'm watching Maryland vs KU last night and when the camera is on the KU coach I see a familiar face sitting behind the bench with his wife. If I was sitting next to Scot I know I would ask questions. And I know I probably wouldn't get any answers.

Yeah I thought the focus on her in the past episode where Nick was talking down to her and she was polite to his face and said she was a confident and successful woman that didn't need his advice was positive for her edit. She came out of that discussion looking way better than Nick. Cydnee had some good moments last week with Debbie and talking about how she goes to Penn and is smart. And Debbie herself has had a lot of strategy discussion and positive moments, even if the editors are having fun with her profession titles. So my guess is the winner is one of those 3. Maybe Julia with an outside shot.

I think I'm one of the rare people who likes those who see that they are surrounded by people who are over-playing the game. So they sit back and let all those people make targets of themselves...which results in their being voted out. This type steps up when it's necessary, but until it is, they remain quiet in the background and wait until it's necessary to make a move. Doing nothing but waiting quietly for the right moment to strike is valid gameplay as far as I'm concerned.

Me too and it's part of why Sandra is one of my favorite winners (that she's entertaining as hell doesn't hurt either). And why I thought Tony from the previous Brain/Brawn/Beauty season was a super annoying winner because he was making so many moves that it made my head spin and a lot of it was overkill. That said, I like to see one or two moves that are evidence that they struck at the right moment. E.g. Sandra getting Burton out in her first season.

I usually watch on Fridays after TAR, but my husband accidentally deleted the last episode.

I watched. Neal was pulled from the game due to infection. No tribal, but it looks like Aubry was being targeted. Neal did not give her the idol before he left which annoyed her.

Infections like that are not to be messed with. No wonder that in Second Chances, they were closely monitored.

Just a disappointing episode all around - Scot turned back into a jerk now that he's back with his troll doll, Debbie was a wackadoodle control freak, Nick and whatsername want to keep around the terrible twosome because no one will vote for them, and Cydney continues to be eagle-eyed but just hand over her intel and stay passive about strategy At this point Julia should win just because we haven't seen enough of her to be irritated.

The so-called "geeks" strike back. Take brains over anything else once everyone is together. You would think Jason and Scott would be next. But Jason is irritating and Scott is rich. So you would want to go to the end with people you believe you could beat. For now I'm on team Debbie. I have a feeling her cleverness has a diabolical side we have not seen yet.

Now that you mention it he does resemble the little doll at the end of Guardians of the Galaxy. A woman will win this one. Most of the guys seem clueless. The smartest one was removed.

OMG those challenges where they are balancing on tiny edges make me go just thinking how painful it must feel. I would not have lasted more than 5 seconds in that challenge. Hell I would not have even been able to get into a starting position, I'd just drop right out.

Right now I'm with the Blonde Girl winning, whatever her name is. I definitely don't want Jason to win, or Scott. I'd be okay with Debbie or Cyndy too. Oh the Little Guy, whatever his name is, I'd be okay with him winning too. I really need to learn their names!

What's interesting is that Tai voted for Jason, by all appearances based only on what happened in TC, which I think could be credited to Debbie and the question about idols. You could see Jason and Scot just dying when Tai let slip about the Super Idol - but I got the impression that Tai was doubting the veracity of the Super Idol (but didn't he get instructions with his idol that talked about that?).

Both Scot and his Troll Doll got sympathetic I-deserve-the-money edits early in the episode. That's nice, but they're both sucky people.

Nick was an arrogant jerk but at least he's got the slightest bit of self-awareness about mistakes he made in the game.

I got the impression that Tai was trying to recover from his big mouth when Julia had no clue about the Super Idol. He's trying to keep others from suspecting he is one of the idol holders.

Tai - trying to figure him out. - One theory - he is f*#$king brilliant. Outing the 'Super Idol' - that he 'heard' about it.
And voting for Jason. Will that make Jason paranoid? Scot and Jason were mad.
Also the immunity challenge - I would think would be easier for smaller people. So was Tai really uncomfortable or did he fake that.
I am starting to wonder if he is wicked smart and playing everybody. Or is he just fumbling along?
I loved how he hugged and kissed cydney and then hugged Jeff.
There is something refreshing about Tai- genuine feelings.
On previously tv - I love some nicknames for Jason & Scot -'The Brotherhood of the ugly tattoos' or 'Bounty and Lurch' - which sounds like the name of a tv show - but I would never watch as I do not like them.
I love Irritated Cydney - I did not notice a hashtag for that like Chaos Kass. I like Cydney, but I feel she may not get to the final.
And I so loved Aubry's comment 'Cochrane's girlfriend' - too funny.

One thing that bugs me - when thye mention an 'all girls alliance' - then the guys form an 'all guys alliance' - and that is not frowned upon, but the all girls is. hypocrisy.
The only guy I am rooting for is Tai - and I would be ok if Aubry, Cydney, Michelle or Julia won. And depending on how the season goes on, I might not be pissed if Debby won, just not Jason, Scot or Joe.

I generally want the winner who I feel has actually "played the game" instead of just stumbled blindly along with the mob (except for Sandra, for whom "blind stumbling" actually was brilliant strategy!) So right now I'd rather see Tai, Debbie or Cydney win it, with Aubry bringing up the rear (stop breaking down girlie!) Jason and Scot are obnoxious, cro-magnon bullies, and Michelle and Julia, so far, seem just.....there.

I think of Dr. Obama and his cohort, who are gone, and last night's vote and I think those who are so sure of themselves will be out very soon, namely Scot and Jason unless they are kept because they are not sympathetic. It amazes me that they are sure they have everything in hand until suddenly they don't. And we've seen it over and over during this competition. You have to try and expose the idol and do it while there are still enough of a team to vote against two opponents at once, forcing one to put the idol in to save himself. Or if you force both Jason and Tai in the same vote...hhhmmm. Who knows? Tai may have surprises in store yet. We will see.

I was really looking forward to a "next time" clip with Jason storming into camp after tribal, screaming his head off "who voted for me???" a la Rupert. We may yet get that, though.
