What happened to having more out there programs in the couple of years after the Olympics and then going back to boring the year before the next one?

Boring is the new black. What happened to having more out there programs in the couple of years after the Olympics and then going back to boring the year before?
Your journey off the ignore list these last few hours has ended. The first half of this Free Dance is interesting, but at the end I'm just over it. There's nothing about the choreography that's building. It's just like "hey, the music is different now, we're on to a new phase of the program."
The elements were incredibly well executed, but this isn't working for me. I don't know what it's going to take to get them that next level, because technically Lajoie & Lagha are one of the best teams in the world. I just can't get into any of their programs.
Pain of a nation? I'm trying to make it more interesting.L/l it takes a while to build but by the end i was enthralled. They also skate very close. Lahga looked like he was in pain the whole time though so idk work on your emotional faces sir.
This has always been my problem with dance and the required themes in the RDs. It always ends up like this.It feels like a lot of teams have gone for zzzz FDs to balance the more fun RDs.
Here you go jinxing again.Wow, Canada could conceivably have three of the six Grand Prix Finalists in ice dance this year.
