Yuzuru Hanyu announces his retirement from competition (updated after his press conference)

Gotta say that I won't miss him. I never got him. I suspect I expected to much from him, given the hype surrounding him.

Hanyu's first YouTube video is titled "Nice to meet you.", in which the 27-year-old explained that he opened the channel with the aim of delivering his skating and performances, including forthcoming exhibition events and professional shows, to more people.

This article today says he will livestream his practice starting at noon on Wednesday, August 10 under the title of "SharePractice" on his YT channel:
