Yard Equipment Recommendations

My shed door was ripped off by a tornado and the old equipment is ruined. I have to buy replacement yard equipment and was hoping for some FSU reviews on the best ones to buy.


Here's a list of my bigger items to replace:

1. Leaf Blower/Vacuum
2. Hedge Trimmer
3. String Trimmer
4. Grass Trimmer/Edger

I was looking at the Black+Decker 40V battery operated line. I do think I need to be cordless but haven't decided if battery or gas is the best way to go. I was looking at Black+Decker because they have a good reputation and I recognize the name but am willing to look at other brand name suggestions if it helps on cost.

We like battery operated. Just make sure you have somewhere to charge multiple batteries. We have 4 charging at once as we go through 2 with just the trimmer. We have older Black and Decker so I cannot comment on their newer lines.
