World Minimums Earned for 2018-19 Worlds

World TES Minimums needed and reached:
Ladies:

• ROBERTSON (GBR) earned the SP minimum. She now has both.
• SPOURS (GBR) earned the SP and the FS minimums.
• POVEY (GBR) earned the FS minimum. She still needs the SP minimum (-1.95).

Based on the above, how would the British berths for ISU Championships be assigned?

Catching up, TES Worlds Minimums reached:

At Tallinn Trophy

Ladies:

• Cui (USA) earned the FS minimum. She now has both.
• Stepanova (CZE) earned the FS minimum. She still needs the SP minimum.
• Gubanova (RUS) earned the FS minimum. She now has both.

At Golden Spin:

Dance:

• Ichilov/Davidovich (ISR) earned the RD minimum. They now have both.

At Denkova-Staviski Cup

Men:

• Obreykov (BUL) earned the SP minimum. He still needs the FS minimum.

Ladies:

• Feigin (BUL) earned both minimums.

At Bosphorus Cup

Ladies:

• Gutmann (ITA) earned the SP minimum. She still needs the FS minimum.
• Pertichetto (PHI) earned the FS minimum. She still needs the SP minimum.

Men:

• Shmuratko (UKR) earned the FS minimum. He now has both.

Dance:

• Kelly/Akalin (TUR) earned the RD minimum. They still need the FD minimum.

At Christmas Cup

Ladies:

• Schaller (AUT) earned the SP minimum. She still needs the FS minimum.
• Stolt (FIN) earned the FS minimum. She still needs the SP minimum.

Monaghan/Fourati made the RD minimum, but it doesn’t count, because there weren’t two members at the event, only three teams from Hungary.


At Open Andorra

Ladies:

• Matos (ESP) earned both minimums.

Dance:

• Calderone/Papetti (ITA) earned both minimums

Ladies:

• Marina PIREDDA (ITA) has earned the SP minimum. This is her first senior international.
• Laura KARHUNEN (FIN) has earned the SP minimum. This is her first senior international.
• Linnea CEDER (FIN) has earned the SP minimum. This is her first senior international.

Men:

• Gabriele FRANGIPANI (ITA) has earned the SP minimum. This is his first senior international.

Congratulations to the skaters competing in their first senior international and earning the Worlds minimums!

• Ning/Wang (CHN) have earned the FD minimum. They still need the RD minimum.
• Zhata/Lukowski (UKR) have earned the FD minimum. They now have both minimums, having earned the SD minimum last season.

They do, but they earned their 4CC minimums in both dances at Mentor Torun, and since 4CCs is the only major international they could have gone to this year anyway (based on Nationals results), it's a great result for them.

• Julia SAUTER earned the SP minimum. She now has both.
• Lucrezia GENNARO earned the SP minimum. She's looking for the FS minimum, after coming within a point last year and earlier this season.

Men:

• Donovan Carrillo (MEX) earned the SP minimum. He now has the set.
• Andrew Dodds (AUS) earned the SP minimum. He still needs the FS minimum (64).

Ladies:

• Larkyn Austman (CAN) earned the FS minimum, having missed the SP minimum by .01.

At 4C's Day 3:

Men:

• Sihyeong Lee (KOR) earned the FS minimum. He still needs the SP minimum. (This is his first senior international this season, having earned the 4C's minimums last season.)
• Tomoki Hiwatashi (USA) earned the FS minimum. He now has the set.

Men:

• Donovan Carrillo (MEX) earned the SP minimum. He now has the set.

Donovan will finaly get funding from the Mexican Government sport body CONADE, great news to hear in preparation for Saitama:

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think 2 more ladies made the required TES for the LP and now have the set and can compete at Worlds:

Elzbieta Kropa (LTU) earned 49.60 TES in the Tallink Hotels Cup, and she now should have both minimums.

Sophia Schaller (AUT) earned 49.02 TES in Challenge Cup LP, and should now have both minimums as well.

Also Aleksandr Selevko (EST) and Daniel Naurits (EST) both achieved minimum TES scores in the Tallink Hotels Cup LP and both are eligible to be selected for Worlds.

As did Konkina & Drozd (RUS).

Also Alina Iuschenkova (ISR) earned the LP minimum at Ice Mall Cup, but lacks the SP mimimum, as far as I know. Was this her first competition? I can't find any information about her.

Looks like Jones/Boyadji got the SP minimum at the Ice Mall Cup. I'm not sure if they'd had it before.
