My goodness, Bandit is being quite the needy kitty today. Didn't really pay much attention to Krouglov. Motilla has a ways to go before he'll fill any voidy French slot.

Oh, goodie, our first POTC of the night. Two good 3As from Bondar, though, so good for him!

There was a point in the music where it almost sounded like it was fading into 007, and it occurred to me that a really good WTF mash-up program idea for a man would be "movie hero" - just throw 'em all in there... POTC, Mask of Zorro, Robin Hood, 007, The Matrix. It would be either remarkably brilliant or awful - either way, it would be epically memorable, lol.

Blackwell - 4t - good! 3a+2a - great! Another 3a - fabulous; 3lo - done; he's skating like he's got nothing to lose, so good for him. He's senior age-eligible next season, so our senior guys need to keep an eye on him... 3f - skiddy landing but stayed up; 3z+3t - up on his toepick to land the 3t & hopped around; 3t+1eu+2s - hand down on 2s & clearly meant for that to be a 3s... And, of course, a raspberry twist and backflip in his choreo seq to end. He's still learning how to compete & needs a lot more work on his skating skills (not as good as Ilia at 16), but once he figures it out...

Gogitidze - the little hip shimmy at the judges as he transitioned out of his first spin made me laugh. He's totally gassed already and super-sloppy, but this "Aladdin" program makes me think he has it in him to fill the voidy French slot better than Motilla.
