Who is going?

I just requested days off from work and am scrambling to organise a trip. I've been totally out of the skating loop all the off-season and had no idea until a few days ago that it was happening mid-October this year!

Does anyone know what time this will be eastern standard time and what it will be broadcast on? I am getting spoiled with all this on demand YouTube.

France is 6 hours ahead. They don’t switch to standard time until the end of the month. It’s always on ISU if you have a VPN. It should be on Peacock and will likely have a summary show on one of NBC’s properties.

Nope I’m Canadian so no peacock I do get NBC but it’s never live

So, besides Primorskaya, and @TAHbKA + yours truly murdering each other as usual, there will be no other FSUers in Angers? The forecast is talking of Indian Summer with temps up to 19/20 C and Angers is a very nice city.

Actually @cholla , you can strike me off the list, I'm having to stay in Berlin because a project I'm leading has to be delivered at the end of that same week and so I'm f**ked. I'm so sad to be missing this indeed impressive roster and even more to not, in fact, be meeting you FSUers at long last!! :wuzrobbed:wuzrobbed:wuzrobbed

The GP de France is now the first listing on the CBC Sports streaming schedule for this season. It is not on their TV schedule.

I will be "there", but watching from home where we too will still be on EDT (the switch happens at the end of the month).

Angers is indeed a very nice city, and a great place to watch skating as I discovered last year - so nice I decided to come back. Couldn't get accommodation a short walk to the arena this year, though.

ITA. A cosy arena with great visibility from every seat, good public transport, and just a short TGV ride from Paris, but with far more affordable accommodation. The city itself is charming and relaxed. Loved it last year too!

I’ll be there starting Friday evening (a layover of sorts on my way from US to Brussels for work next week). Probably exhausted, but there!

I purchased the 3 day pass and picked my section, but there is nothing about an assigned seat. Is it just first-come, first-serve?

I bought my pass fairly late, and ended up in a different section for each session, since there was better availability for some. (although I like knowing where my seat is, I wish they'd done something similar for Prague worlds, instead of putting single-session and all event tickets on sale at the same time, and as soon as a seat was gone for one event it was unavailable for all-event purchase)
