Vadym Kolesnik gofundme

Donating a few bucks to a real Ukrainian skater impacted by the war may not be as fun as raging against (insert a name). But it can make a difference. So bumping this up.

Wondering who Vadym is skating with currently? I haven't kept up and the GoFundMe doesn't say.
Emilea Zingas (his GFM organizer) & Vadym jointly announced their new U.S. ice dance partnership today: https://www.instagram.com/p/CdlXGOgLqHl/
"So excited to announce our partnership. This will be our first season together and we can’t wait to show you all what we have been working on! #usfigureskating"

She represented Cyprus at 2021 Worlds and is new to ice dance: http://www.isuresults.com/bios/isufs00110372.htm

ETA: This news has since been posted in the U.S. Dance news & Dance Hall threads.

Bumping this thread up with an update re Emilea Zingas and Vadym Kolesnik.

Today they started a GoFundMe page for: "Zingas Kolesnik 2023 Training Fund"

Excerpt of their message there:

"... When the war in Ukraine began, Vadym’s family lost their business, home, and security. For the last year and a half, Vadym has worked multiple jobs to help his family and contribute to the training expenses. While we both work to support ourselves and our parents continue to support us, the cost of ice, coaching, costumes, choreographers, travel, food, equipment, and other miscellaneous expenditures has exceeded what we can handle. Ice dancing is our passion, our sport, and our chance to impact the world positively. By contributing to our training fund, you will join our team and accompany us on our journey to reach our Olympic goals. With your generous contributions, we aim to overcome this hurdle and continue our comprehensive training program.

We are also excited to represent team USA at two Grand Prix events this fall: Skate Canada and Espoo!

We cannot express enough gratitude for considering our cause and lending your support. Your contributions, whether financial or through sharing this campaign, mean the world to us."

Emilea and Vadym's reference to "our chance to impact the world positively" strikes a chord with me.
I appreciate their positive impact on my little world, and look forward to more. ❤️

Emilea's tweet today:

"Please consider reading/donating to our training fund.
We are so excited about the coming season and thankful for all of the opportunities that we are blessed with."

(In case anyone is wondering, the original GoFundMe for Vadym and his family ?? apparently remains active too.
Both GoFundMe links now are in Vadym's Instagram profile.)

I contributed modestly and got a sweet message from Emilea, whom I also congratulated on her quite successful transition to ice dance. Between them and Flores/Desyatov, we have two talented victims of Russian aggression in the US dance program.

I also contributed and received a kind message from Emilea.

I too was pleased to receive an appreciative message from Emilea. ?

Side note: I forgot to mention earlier that Jackie Wong included Emilea and Vadym in his "New Faces" group within "Team USA’s Top 10 Moments of the 2022-23 Season." :)

"New Faces on the Scene
Don't forget the new generation. There was a lot to celebrate at the U.S. Championships, where names like Josephine Lee, Samuel Mindra, Sonia Baram and Daniel Tioumentsev, and Emilea Zingas and Vadym Kolesnik put together some memorable performances – all in their first appearance at U.S. Championships in the senior ranks."

They posted recently about being with Benoit Richaud. Do I remember this correctly? Do we know, if he has done their choreo?
