Oh a whopping 72 hours to catch up on the juniors I'll mostly miss while at work.

I guess better than nothing but still... :blah:

I know we all know where to find the correct times but it is really frustrating for casual fans. I saw last night someone ask where to watch on the Wichita Tourism IG and they were pointed towards peacock/NBC. As a casual viewer they are not going to know the times are wrong. My mom is a casual viewer and if she gets “Event starting soon” for longer than 10 minutes she moves on.

There was a time when Canadians could see most of the US championships on regular cable NBC-TV. It was great. But, then someone decided that only Americans would want to watch and they could pay for the privilege (Peacock, etc). and access to those streams would be unavailable in Canada. Such a shame but it is what it is. Oh well, maybe I'll actually get some work done this week in lieu of watching skating. I'll hear what happens eventually.

Peacock doesn’t have replays of the practice cam? I missed the earlier pairs practice….amd maybe women.

So, is there absolutely no way that Canadians can watch US Nationals? Even if using a VPN or being willing to pay a subscription fee?

I believe Peacock requires a US issued credit card. If you have access to one, you can use a VPN and fake US address.

You still will see a lot of it on NBC. Women's free skate, last group of mens short, free dance, and men's free.

Back in the day, even going back to ABC Nationals, most of the short programs were on ESPN or ESPN2 anyways so there isn't too much of a difference now.

There was a pirate stream during the Jr Women's FS today. I'd be surprised if there isn't one during at least some of the senior events.

This is one of the channels on qq that may have a pirate stream.

Sadly, I don't have a US issued credit card. I wonder if anything is possible through the new Japanese feed?

I'm pretty sure that will only be available in Japan.

But the fact that a Japanese network paid for broadcasting rights to US Nats is so very cool to me.

A swimming forum pointed to a site to watch USA network for the US Olympic trials last year - I've used it a number of times since: https://thetvapp.to/tv/usa-network-live-stream/

It's showing the pairs and women's short programs today for 4 hours starting at 7pm EST.
I've used that site before when I wanted to watch some eviction night Big Brother episodes live with an East Coast feed instead of waiting for the West Coast broadcast.

It works well for watching US channels not available in Canada. Unfortunately, I have another commitment this evening (although a very pleasant one - my nephew gave me a Thai seafood cooking class and cider tasting for Christmas).

Yes, I'm looking forward to seeing anything I can. I actually enjoy Johnny and Tara, so will be happy with that. I shall try a couple of the suggested links upthread to see if they work for me too. Would be great if I could see a bit more than the TV coverage but I'm thankful for what I do get. :)

You'll also get Gabriella Papadakis on commentary on NBC/USA according to Johnny Weir, so that's fun!

I so agree with this! I love that USA Gymnastics puts their meets on streaming available outside of the US, it's so nice to watch in Canada
