Sadly I won’t be there this year. I didn’t realize how early it was compared to last year and someone had already booked my house. Dance field looks great! Men isn’t as good as last year.

Is the USFS no longer doing the pay-your-own-way internationals? I think this was one of them last year?

They are, but this one doesn't seem to be one of the comps they're letting skaters choose - seems like they've chosen Robin Cousins Cup & Tayside Trophy for singles/pairs and Bolero Cup/Mezzaluna Cup for dance this season.

Too bad, Nice in early October is gorgeous! Maybe they’re miffed over last year’s event being partially cancelled over some drizzle . (It was more than drizzle, but still… the Côte d’Azur is wimpy about weather! The weather was fine on the day of competition that was cancelled; it was the next day, when the competition was held, that got really crazy.)

Her dress looks more grey than white in the KnC, but I agree, she needs a different color. The dress is very pretty, though.

Matrix is a good program for the Taschlers, but something about Natalie's costume isn't working for me either. I'm not sure what. I think maybe it's coming up too high on the shoulders or something.

There is so much about her costume that is unflattering to her - the peplum around the waist is probably the biggest culprit.

The high side neck and then the arm armor look makes her appear to have hunched shoulders, which she does not. That needs to be reworked and lose the peplum. The huge opening in the back also ruins what could be a sleek line.

I wonder if she lost her old costume designer during the coaching change.

Thrilled the headstand is gone, what is in its place still needs re-work but they only had a week. This has the potential to be amazing come February/March.
