My heart says Liz Cheney but I think the US Supreme Court was a game changer this past year and the Dobbs decision impacted abortion law, abortion availability, the distinct lack of a red wave....so much.

Zelenskyy is my vote. The actions of most of the other people/groups on this list were predictable, foreseen, and also, frequently, reprehensible. Zelenskyy's actions and impact were completely unforeseen, historic, and have shone a rare ray of hope in world affairs.

Women of Iran would be my second choice.
