Tiger Woods Injured in Single Car Crash

For the two previous days, he had been shooting videos for Golf TV, in addition to being in enough pain that he couldn't actually play in the tournament. Video and film shoots can be very long working days. If he was on a busy schedule and in discomfort, I can see him not adjusting well to another early morning wake-up call.
That is a guess. No doubt speed contributed .. which is just about everywhere for sure. Accidents happen very fast so .. I am not a Tiger fan (wasn’t he kinda a asshole) but there can be no doubt he is very much a household name.

“continuing orthopedic care and recovery.”

And again, I thought of something related to me (ha ha). I went to the Kettering Sports Medicine Rehab for PT (twice a week for 10 weeks), like I was an actual athlete, and not a 30-something secretary who had a freak accident at the local rink!

Wow, so Tiger transferred hospitals last night from Harbor UCLA Medical Center, which did the initial surgeries, to Cedars Sinai, which is ranked #3 in the country for orthopedic care. I think he may have had some more surgeries today, Friday. It is going to be a very long, if not life-long, recovery. I am sure he wants to get back to Florida. He is lucky to be alive and, it seems, to have his foot. What a mess.

Tiger’s press release last night indicated follow up procedures. My guess is that they might have been for the muscle injury/compartment syndrome, which is quite routine, and perhaps microsurgery for any nerve issues. They say he is in good spirits.

Rehab is important. I’m sorry you had to experience that.
