The Traitors

The casting of Johnny and Tara now makes sense--they have an Olympics tie-in.

That was quite the episode. The dinner! The outfits! The frantic fight for the antidotes (you would have thought Natalie was actually going to die)! Jam Jam being dragged away screaming! Tara giving all her gold to Rob! Rob getting the dagger! Candaice voting for Rob and Rob having the nerve to be offended by the betrayal!

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

I feel like Rob has definitely made a huge error in pointing the target so clearly on Lisa & going against his fellow traitors this early in the game.

Me too.

I get that he had to vote for her to leave but why he didn’t let Colton lead the charge against Lisa makes no sense.

Watched the latest episode last night. My initial thoughts...

1) Candiace is dumb as a box of rocks, but she's not the dumbest cast member. I can't believe she stuck to her guns on murdering Colton last night. That was such a terrible strategic move.

2) So, not only does Eric have golden ears that enable him to recognize a Traitor's laugh while blindfolded, he also knows all of the cast members' handwriting on sight. FFS, I couldn't even recognize my own brothers' handwriting if you showed it to me, so what makes that dumba$$ think he can instantly identify Johnny's handwriting? I can only pray that Rob winds up getting burned by choosing such a blowhard idiot to be the new Traitor.

That and her strategy in going after Rob the way she did. At some point, someone is going to think "Hmmmm....." But the way she did it just made people suspect her more, not him.

I don't think Rob chose Eric to be his partner in crime. Eric is just a pawn.

I would not want to play poker with Rob.

I’m willing to accept Candiace being dumb for getting rid of Colton.

She did the Lord’s work there.

I don’t think Eric has the chops to be a traitor and I expect Kristen or Mark will see right through him.

Suddenly it's the Johnny and Tara show. Those Olympians know how to grab the spotlight.

Strategically, revealing how close they are was probably a mistake, but from a personal perspective, it's nice to see that they really are that tight. Also kind of squicky :yikes:.

Kristen is on to Eric, but everyone else seems to be focused on Johnny. But that may totally change next week because it always seems to.

Yup and she's one of the four up for murder. I have a niggling feeling that Rob is going to do to Eric exactly what he did to Candiace - let him have his way with murdering Kristen while withholding from Eric that Kristen told Mark to focus on Eric if she winds up murdered that night. There are only two more roundtables and even if Eric DOES survive the next one since Johnny & Tara are under such dire scrutiny by the rest of the Faithfuls right now, I don't think he would survive the last one. Rob is sneaky good at turning all the focus off of himself - like he said to Eric when he revealed himself "I'm the Traitor-Hunter!" That's the perception the rest of the Faithfuls have of him and I can't see how he doesn't win this.

Johnny and Tara played the only card they had to make sure one of them got to stay by setting themselves up as shields for the Traitors.

No way they both get to the final 4 but I think Tara will especially if Kristen gets murdered next.

Eric is a terrible traitor. I expect Rob to throw him under the bus next episode by using the double vote dagger against him.

My guesses for next episodes:

Kristen - murder
Eric - banished
Natalie - murder
Johnny - banished

Final 4: Tara, Maura, Mark, Rob

Tara banished.

Mark, Maura, Rob end game and Rob wins.

Or

Mark and Maura banish Rob and win.

I binge watched Season 4 over the weekend. I don't know who many of these people are other than Johnny and Tara, Lisa Rinna, and the Survivor contestants. Poor Tara seems to be clueless much of the time, and she and Johnny have been fairly consistent in going after the wrong player. Her going on about the turkey was funny since others had been served the same thing. The freaking out when Jam Jam was dragged off screaming was entertaining.

Rob did a good job of getting rid of Lisa and Candiace. They would have eventually teamed up to get rid of him had he not struck first.
