Say,I don't know if it's ever been mentioned...but do we know a Partnership history for them...as far as how they were Paired and all?

Ludmila Belousova Protopopov died last fall at the age of 81 :( - here's the news/tribute thread with MANY of their videos linked: https://www.fsuniverse.net/forum/threads/ludmilla-belousova-has-passed-away-threads-merged.101925/

ETA: Their last public performance together may have been in September 2016 at Harvard University's annual "An Evening with Champions" fundraiser show? Here's what @clairecloutier wrote about their exhibition skate in her blog's review:
Legendary Olympic champions Ludmila/Oleg Protopopov opened the second half with a simple but beautiful romantic program. It’s amazing how, even at the age of 80/84, the Protopopovs can still captivate audiences with their elegance and beauty. They are so utterly in command of every aspect of their performance, down to the expert placement of their hands to accent each movement. Watching them underscores that triple and quad jumps come and go…but beautiful artistry in figure skating lasts forever.

From an obituary article: http://www.adirondackdailyenterpris...7/10/skating-legend-remembered-for-her-grace/
The figure skating world was shocked and saddened by the passing of skating legend Ludmila Belousova Protopopov, who had been suffering from stomach cancer. According to Russian news reports, Belousova passed away Friday at age 81 in a hospital in Switzerland with her husband and long-time skating partner Oleg Protopopov at her side.
I hope Oleg is doing okay, wherever he may be.
