I can't believe it. I spent this whole season emotionally preparing for Sochi 2.0 and they did it. They looked that panel straight in the eye and dared them to do it.

They are hardcore competitors and unbelievable artists. GOATs. To pull that skate out at a moment like that...

We won't see their like again for a long long time.

Yup. They were so excellent in the technik and dared the judges to deny them. Such an amazing skate. I screamed when I saw the score. I am SO HAPPY!!!

V/M overcame corrupt judges, unfair placements, injuries, and a fabricated rivalry propped up by you know who.
Tessa and scott did that. everyone else faves in figure skating could never!

Three jaw dropping skates tonight. Virtue Moir skated the best overall and totally deserve the OGM. Pap Ciz were also magical and set a world record for the Free Skate. The Shibs skated with heart and their usual tech abilities. We are so lucky to have this podium.

Although they placed second in the free dance, their lead from the short dance was enough to secure another Olympic gold. After winning gold, they celebrated their win in the hallway. Just as she was leaving for an interview with CBC, Scott grabbed Tessa's hand and pushed her against the wall, kissing her forcefully. Twenty-years in the making, the pair couldn't keep their hands off of each other. They promptly found the nearest private washroom, and proceeded to make love. The End.

I'm still reeling! I honestly didn't think they would be able to have that skate after P/C's but they came out there and blew me away!! Wow. They are fierce...absolutely fierce. They never for a even a second through silver was good enough and changed half their program two months before the olys to make this happen. Never been more proud to be a fan of them!

and to think v/m pushed really hard to do moulin rouge as their final skate! MOULIN ROUGE! the very piece of music the "lyrical purists" love to trash as warhorse/overused/trashy piece of music.
