Final group of senior men just finished their warm-up.

Levandi - fall on 3A; rest of the first half jumps were all solid; this music is too bland for me (I'm struggling with fatigue today - some sort of bug's caught up with me this week); jump combos in the 2nd half were landed if a bit tight.

ETA - 139.69 FS; 210.82 overall, into 3rd behind Sadovsky 212.15 and Starostin 211.21

Nordeback - fell out of the 3a - probably getting a review; 3a+1eu+3a - ehhhh; next few jumping passes were good; down on the 3z; 3f - back on his blade and put his foot down early on the landing; another dreary music program. He's really struggled to come back from his injury. :(

ETA - 130.84 FS; 204.47 overall & into 5th behind Ma 209.71

Nordeback's blades were so loud and scratchy

Martynov - what's with these random belt buckles on his costume - is he inspired by Shaidorov last season? 4t - stepped out/hand down? 3a - nice; 3z - okay; 2lo - whelp... These boys in Tallinn and I need to have a discussion about their music choices... 3a+1eu+2f - okayish; 3z+2t - meh; 3s+2a - okayish. None of what he does has any finesse.

ETA - 137.12 FS; 212.73 total into 1st (barely)

Martynov

Weight was incorrectly distributed on takeoff on quad—just no chance of a clean landing, good 3a, a little wild on some of the other jumps, not a lot of expression-face or otherwise

this program was so weird like what was that??????

Shmuratko - 4s - bit tight but okay; 3a - good; 3f+2a - careful but okay; 3lo - same; OMG! This music mashup! He is plodding across the ice for the jumps in the 2nd half - all minimal negative GOE; step sequence is a L2 and that may be generous. It's like he ran out of gas after the first two jumps.

ETA - 4s was << on review and his TES has dropped a ton and is still falling - both of his 3z were given ! and this should fall behind Martynov, tbh.

129.67 FS; 206.24 total into 6th

Shmuratko

Crisp landings, a more refined performance for sure, this is the kind of program that needs an audience, lower GOE on some later elements

No, this is the kind of program that needs to be dust-binned before it ever leaves the practice rink.

Sanchez - great 3a+3t to open! Another beauty of a 3a! Bit of a lean on the 3lo but stayed up; 3f+2t - okay; nice set of spins followed by 3z+2a+2a; 3s; 3z all clean... A fall in the choreo seq? Hmmmmm... I guess? That seems kind of junky to call that slight balance check on the sliding part a fall.

ETA - 148.97 FS; 225.60 overall and into 1st!

M Selevko - what the hell is this shirt? 3lo - stumbles out; 4t - fall; 3f+3a - oh, someone's inspired by Malinin, lol; but follows up with a 2lo... 4t+rep - fall; stumbles out of 3a; 3z+1t - no flow on 3z landing and could only tack on a 1t. This program may be interesting if skated clean, but he's aiming to take himself right off the medal podium and give us a North American sweep.
