Just came to think about that I said no one can beat S/K at Euros but theoretically speaking, on a good day Kavaguti/Smirnov could beat them if they stay injury free and have more luck than they usually have. After all they do have two great programmes this year.

Yep. They actually do have something to lose, if they make errors like at Nationals and K&S skate well.

I'm also wondering what Volosozhar and Trankov are thinking this season. To stay on top they will have to include some more technical difficulty as well

They have high PCS, so they can still beat the canadians or the chinese quad or no quad. But It will depend what the judges think about them now. Actually I'm curious about it.

Not even sure how much she was working on a 3sal since they didn't go for the SBS this season, but two different triple-triples, even in practice, is seriously impressive. All hail the Queeen

Seriously though, a while ago there was a report on GS that people had seen S/K land perfect 3S in practice, and a quad throw. He does the Lutz as well, but I don't know about the Queen.

Fedor seems more of a toepick jumper to me (his axels are fine, but nothing spectacular), so maybe 3-3 are the way to go. Good as Tatiana's was, Ksenia's was even better. Huge height and so much ice coverage. Watch them show up with both 3toe3toe and 3sals in Stockholm

Even though I still am mad about the programs Morozov gave them, I've been appreciating the way they perform them more... Ksenia's arms are so beautiful in both programs. I feel like the choreography is not catching up to how much their basics and presentation improved.

I don't think it's Morozov choreo @Cherub721. They worked with him also but their choreographer is Alla, the one who did the previous programs. Myself I like both programs.

I do agree they were ready for more interesting choreography, especially in the short, but the way they execute everything to its fullest means they have the ability to make the current programs look really good.

They are having a bad season. Losing to Duhamel & Radford at the gpf. Falling and losing the LP at Nationals. This was supposed to be their year to shine with Volosozhar & Trankov gone, but they aren't taking advantage of it. Next year V&T should be back and back on top. And no way S&K will be beating them when they aren't even good enough to beat Duhamel & Radford.

Ha. Did you read them? I don't know are some people so sensitive, or they just don't like them and use this to bash or something? Maybe it's just me because I'm a bit like her, but I would be mad in that moment too.
