This Sunday schedule is simply rude for me in middle America on a weekend.

Tomorrow (Friday) works well for me. Skating starting at 9:00am. I can handle that.
Saturday at 6:45 am and Sunday at 7:00 am (ick ... ick).
I'm a nighthawk and do NOT do early mornings well ... but I will do my best.
Silver lining on those early mornings is that it leaves the afternoons free and I can search/research some Christmas gift ideas online in time for Prime's Black Friday week sales (next week). Can't believe it's only 6 weeks until the big day!!
Anyway ..... I'm jazzed for the skating tomorrow morning. See you all then.

Huh. You don’t have a daughter who picked this weekend for New York and Broadway shows. No Finlandia for me.

(Would have been so much better if it was CoC this week since I can’t watch in real time anyway.)

Finland is 10 hrs ahead of me here on the West Coast, which is 7hrs ahead of the East Coast. I'm not thrilled with 5am tomorrow morning, but I'm even less thrilled with 2:45am and 3am on the weekend. I'll be sleeping in the middle of the day, I guess, lol.

Huge family text message discussion today about Christmas. It will be simple. We're doing Secret Santa Stockings, so I only have to buy gifts to fill one person's stocking, lol.

Well if you're missing skating due to something (at least for me) that's enjoyable it's not quite as bad. Hopefully you can catch the replays.

I tried to plan Thanksgiving and Christmas - crickets from my family. I'm done trying to plan anymore. They can take over from now on. If I can make it, fine. If I can't, I'll read a trashy book.
