I'm still in bed writing my Manila Luzon what-might-have-been fan fiction.

The double win was cheesy, especially since it looked like they edited the ending together with an iPhone. It reminded me of that Christmas special where they all "won". I think it could have gone either way and been justified, so it's too bad Ru didn't make a choice and stand by it.

The All-Star format is not working. It's horrible, and frankly, just a circus. I wouldn't be sad if it was discontinued.

I thought the double win was a cop out. Monet was phenomenal in the final episode but over the whole series Trinity killed it so I don't think it was close enough to warrant a double win.

What I want to know is why RuPaul backtracked and then switched her original decision. It’s clear from the editing that they were not both announced as winners, but rather they were announced separately for editing purposes, like she always does (as @jamesy has also deducted).

The formula is getting stale and the queens are all going for the same strengths, but you can’t blame them when the challenges on this show are almost always the same. They need a Bianca-type figure in S11 who doesn’t fit that same ‘current mass drag’ formula.

I agree it was a bit of a cop out. I would have given it to Trinity on her own. Although it would have been interesting to see if Manila had stayed who would have won. I find Monet and Monique annoying. Although I did like Monique's cow theme.

Trinity's dress on the runway. OMG that was freakin gorgeous. One of the best and so couture.

For me, tomandlorenzo.com nailed it in their recap. Monet was brilliant at all phases of the final challenge, Trinity looked stiff and thinking too much. I give Monet +3 GOE, while Trinity barely executed other than the runway.

I also think it's time to retire all stars, at least in it's current state. Maybe Ru might be better off with the one episode things like the holiday challenge. Ru could produce them 4-5 time a year if the intent is to keep the brand out front between the normal Drag Races.

I think All Stars in future would only be worth it if Kim Chi came back and only did runways.

I just think there needs to be more time in between All Stars series. You can't have "All stars" every single year otherwise you're picking from the ones you put in the reject pile previously and stacking half the previous normal season to what? Give them a second chance to win?

You need more time to build up a pool of people to pick from.

All stars could be like the Olympics - every four years

Also they need to stop bringing the same people back - once you've had a shot on an all stars season then that's it you can come back no more. No matter how desperate Ru is to crown Latrice

Or start getting ready with RuPaul Allstars the rejected queens that could have won - Ben de la crème, Shangela (for the eleventieth time) and Manilla....only a few seasons to go to have a full series.
