That's as nice a summary as I've ever seen from Phil Hersh.

I think that's a big assumption on your part. ETA: Especially since Phil has been writing mostly very positively about Nathan Chen for a long time.

Sadly, Harsh has a rep for 'building them up and tearing them down' if skaters start doing poorly. (Gracie Gold, anyone?)

Take heart in knowing that Max really is very happy and ready to move on to the next phase of his life ( this is from my own conversation with him at Worlds). He’s not interested in doing Disney or coaching, he’s very much focussed on his new job and doing well there.
