Dupuis' triple axel was rotated with a final GOE of -0.16 (range from -1 to +1 from individual judges).

Well this might be a game changer, nationals will be so important. Good for her, she will make a name for herself internationally if she can do a clean triple axel consistently.

Great to see Dupuis land the 3A! She scored 185.66 to Schizas' 188.6 at Finlandia. I was hoping she'd beat Schizas' score to boost her chances at Olympic selection. I still think whoever scores highest at Canadian Nationals deserves to go, but who knows what SC will do.

I will say that the calls here seemed a bit generous. I have to believe several of Dupuis' jumps would've been given at least a q by the q-happy caller at Finlandia. Schizas, to her credit, normally does not have rotation or edge call issues.

Main thing Maddie has going for her is the clean jumps and unlike Sara Maude less likely to be downgraded etc . But will see what happens at nationals. Canadians will be quite the hunger games this year.
