Petr Gumennik Cheer thread

I first saw Petr at the JGPF in Canada. He was 17, and he skated very well.

I had not kept track of his skating after 2022,:though I remembered him as an artistic skater with inconsistent jumps.

I saw his skating on you tube during the Olympic qualifier in Beijing and I was so impressed! He has grown into a young man who has put it all together. He was a natural artist, but now he has the jumps too. I hope he continues to improve and wins a medal in the Olympics. I will cheer for him.

I had watched his Onegin LP At last year’s Russian Grand Prix. It was stronger than the one on Beijing. So he has sone work to do.i hope he keeps this LP for the Olympics. The music suits him well.


I started exploring his early (junior) skating and it was easy to see how talented he was even at age 14.
Then I watched a few more performances. The talent was obvious. He just had to ripen.

Loved him since he showed up on the scene, he used to be such a charming young skater and has now become a real artist with striking looks.
Probably my favorite male skater since Kolyada.

Petr's participation in the Olympics does mean that all potential medalists will be competing, I think?

I really like his ponytail. I don’t know why I feel he looks better with it. He is a handsome young man even without it, but what really pleases me is that he has improved so much.
