Overused Figure Skating Songs

Here's an earlier thread with his video that was popular with his fellow skaters:

He is a professional figure skater & choreographer (he did Amber Glenn's programs this season).

^^ Yes, one of the Schindler's List programs was immediately followed by another at NHK. Romsky's was better than Ignatov's.

I thought Cordero might also do takes on Moulin Rouge and Les Miserables. I'd love to see him parody Pina and Muse's Exogenesis Symphony Part 3 as well! :p

To paraphrase Sally Field's comments about AdaRipp, Cordero is 'insanely' witty and very talented. Cordero is apparently from Fairbanks, Alaska and he competed in U.S. novice men's singles as a 17-year-old in 2010. I don't know if he went on to compete in junior men's or whether he eventually made the advance to senior men's singles before he retired from eligible competition to skate professionally.

Oh. I thought this was going to be a thread listing about 85% of what skaters have selected for this season. One of the worst things for me to endure as a fan is the lack of skater/team creativity in selecting music. Really unforgivable in my book.

Thanks, my mistake. Ignatov skated after Romsky though, and the comparison was palpable. While they are both tall, striking figure skaters, Romsky skates with more maturity, elegance and soul at this point.

Who had the third Schindler's List program at NHK? I know Jason skated his in the first men's group. Is it Kostornaia? The skaters' program music is sometimes difficult to remember with perfect recall. ;)

Shulepov.

Ah Shulepov. I get Anton and his compadre, Vlad Litvintsev, somewhat mixed up. They appear to be about the same size and body structure, though Vlad has lighter hair and coloring. They both have sweet smiles. Neither are on the POSTY semi-finals list this year. :P

Watch Shulepov's program and see his costume, I can guarantee you won't forget him after that, by far one of the most offensive costumes in figure skating history.

Neither Anton nor Vlad are currently presenting any danger of becoming the next great Russian male figure skating threats, eh. I've seen both of them skate on the GP, but I wasn't paying over-much attention to their costumes. ;) They are both cute young guys who seem eager and happy about skating on the big stage with the big dawgs. :D
