I think that was actually really great from Kaiya. That was a mature delivery of the program and it really worked for her. The 3/3 remains not rotated, but the other jumps were nice.

I'm usually a Jia hater because I find her bland and boring most of the time but I didn't find that short bland or boring. Was it Michelle Kwan Rachmaninoff? No but it very good skate and she got HUGE GOE on the combo compared to Amber's. Jia's ending out of the layback was rather nice and looked part of the program not just WE NEED A DIFFICULT EXIT FOR LEVEL 4. Program wise it is 7 to me on a 10 point grade scale. Amber's is a 5 right now with that I already pointed out.

Shame to judge’s number 4 and number 6 for giving a meager +1 on ambers spectacular triple axel. I hope they get banned. Judges like them are not needed in any capacity.

She does seem to love the retro. But you gotta know your style. Can you imagine Isabeau and Amber exchanging programs?

(The one time I’ve heard Zou Bisou previously was on an episode of Mad Men, it’s even before my time!)

Nonetheless she was charming and elegant. Only the mule kick is unlovely.

I'll have to watch the rest of the 4th and 5th season. I couldn't find any interest in the 3rd season after absolutely loving the first two.

I was talking more about that style of program getting old. I don't think it gets old. As for the show, it did start to show some wear as it went along. The series finale was a banger, though.

I understand knowing your style but I also think she is just limiting herself and if she doesn't get immediate results drops it. It happened with snake program and it also happened to Kwan too. Michelle even said she regrets not trying different styles and movements in career after she stopped skating. I don't want anyone skating Amber's program right now
