Faula/Belle - Daft Punk program - okay 3tw; SBS 2s; hand down & then a fall on the throw 3s; lift is fine, same for the BIDS; some nice unison & choreo in the step seq; SBS spins not bad.

I think, regarding participants, pairs is the most interesting field at Nebelhorn this year.

Aurelie FAULA / Theo BELLE

3twist
sbs 3sal, she a bit wild and doubled
high throw 3 sal, fall
they look crushed

sbs 2s such a classique way to start a pairs comp

...wait did he do a triple?? lol idk anymore

BecGuar - 3tw - he barely touched her on the dismount; SBS 3t - messy landing for him; throw 3lo - decent; lift - solid; BIDS - solid; step seq - this is probably one of the best step sequences I've ever seen to "Reel Around the sun"; SBS spins - not a lot of unison & far apart. Good effort for them for their first competition back after almost a full year off.

ChtWoz - kept their SP from last season which I loved, so I can't complain - 3tw - nice; SBS 3t - fall for her; throw 3f - she pitched forward hard on the landing but stayed up; SBS spins - very fast; lift - nice; BIDS - little hop entrance into it was cool; step seq - good. All things considered, about their usual.

After the 1st of 5 groups, we have an ice resurfacing.

SP results so far:
1 Lucrezia BECCARI / Matteo GUARISE ITA 62.96 34.29 28.67 7.20 7.15 7.20 0.00 #2
2 Ioulia CHTCHETININA / Michal WOZNIAK POL 57.01 32.27 25.74 6.55 6.35 6.45 1.00 #3
3 Aurelie FAULA / Theo BELLE FRA 46.12 25.36 21.76 5.50 5.50 5.35 1.00 #1

Spotted in the audience - the French sisters in their pink jackets :)

Rebecca GHILARDI / Filippo AMBROSINI

sbs 2a
3twist to the music
throw 3 lutz df but great out of a knee slide
very dynamic performance, I liked it best so far
especially the lifts were wonderful

Alrighty then... Back after the 1st ice resurfacing...

GhiAmbro - in royal blue and skating to "Volare"; SBS 2a - solid; 3tw - nice; lift - excellent; throw 3z - two-foot landing; BIDS - decent; SBS spins - spacing issues as they change positions but otherwise good; step seq - nice speed throughout. I'd probably have this ahead of BecGuar.

The Italian competition for their two spots is going to be intense this season.

Daria DANILOVA / Michel TSIBA

3twist
sbs out of sync 3sal
throw 3lutz, good
they look pretty happy with that

DanTsi - 3tw - beautiful; SBS 3s - I'm guessing his gets reviewed; throw 3z - small but fluid landing; lift - solid; BIDS - good; step seq - kind of slow, but alright; SBS spins - pretty decent - good spacing throughout & mostly in unison. Program is sort of bland & not super-memorable, IMO.

Anastasia VAIPAN-LAW / Luke DIGBY

3twist
sbs 2a good
throw 3l fall out saved it with several steps

VLDigs - pretty maroon colored, one-shoulder strap dress for her - ohhhhh, our first "Fix You" of the season. 3tw - good; SBS 2a - nice; lift - is he injured? he used both hands throughout; throw 3lo - terrible landing/step-out for her; BIDS - fine; SBS spins - okay-ish unison; step seq - meh. This is going to score somewhere around ChtWoz.
