Despite her powerful playing style, Sabalenka's always struggled with the mental side of the game. Hard to imagine how this is going to effect her, especially since she took the passing of her father so badly.

Nadal out in first round. Terrible though expected as he wasn’t seeded. And why should he have been? So he faced Zverev. What a random thing. Face the frontrunner!! lol. He could have faced so many others. Now he will retire only having won French open 137 times

A local ballet company in southern Florida, Paris Ballet, has commissioned a new ballet called "Match," which will be dedicated to "Tennis and Serena Williams." It's being choreographed by New York City Ballet Principal Dancer Tiler Peck, and will be danced by American Ballet Theatre Principal Dancer Skylar Brandt and Joffrey Ballet School Trainee Breeanna Palmer.

According to this article,
Williams gave the dancers her blessings.

"I am lost for words," Willams said in a statement. "I have always loved dance, ballet in particular. It was a big part of my life growing up. I can’t wait to see how it turns out."

Depending on how severe the tear is he may be able to let it heal naturally. Might have to skip Wimbledon but could be back in Paris for the Olympics, which has been a goal for Novak (although he obviously wants that 25th slam record too). If he has to have surgery I can't imagine we see him again this season, or mid-late fall at the earliest.

Too bad Swiatek can’t conquer the grass! Don’t have an idea of a winner yet at all! I would say any woman playing now could be the winner. Isn’t that crazy. Any one of em!

Copy the link, and then paste it into the 'Media' option in the box that opens when you type a post. The software does the rest.
