I really liked PlaFern's SP - maybe Val's finally learned how to land her jumps while Max was rehabbing.

I was thinking the same thing. I really enjoyed that - the choreography, the music edits, the performance quality, she landed the 3T!

ETA - that was rough for the first half. Fall for Valentina on the SBS 3t; fall again on the SBS 2a+seq+waltz jump; messy, two-footed landing on the first throw; held onto the landing on the second throw; super creative entrance into the combo spin! Stamina isn't quite there as they struggled with the last lift. All in all, I like the program and, if skated relatively clean, could definitely get the audience on their feet because "The Lion King" really is just a phenomenal score.

Well, they finally have a decent 3tw, and they both landed their SBS jumps, so even though she fell on the first throw & had a bit of a skidded landing on the second throw, it's hard to find fault in their score here. Having said that, this program is boring and very much in the vein of pretty, pretty inoffensive skating to any music. Their costumes are nice though.

That's a generous score. SBS 3s+2a+2a - he seemed a bit off-balance on the landing of the last 2a; SBS 3t - he stumbled out of the landing; oh, goody, more weirdness from this team, this time thanks to B E N O I T with a phone ringing twice & sirens in the background... And I see they're "blessing" us with the ugly shin-grab BODS again.

I don't care how technically good they are, I just cannot get behind this team. If it's not a stupid hood, it's phones ringing & sirens, and one fugly death spiral that ruins every program.

Miura/Kihara - https://x.com/moozuru/status/1964577532931690830

Well, that's a home-cooked score - she botched the SBS 3S landing and fell on the throw 3lo. I still haven't watched SDDes FS from John Nicks yet, but MiuKih's program itself is pretty bland - not much gladiator in it at all - just nice skating to a spectacular score. I suppose if skated clean in Milano it could win, but, really, it's not an Olympic-winning program, IMO. Very beatable.

Kihara looked SPENT. I thought they would have to drag him off the ice. Hope he's okay.

Miura and Kiara haven’t done a dramatic program like this before. Seems like they are finding their way - but I think it has a lot of potential.
