I've been watching that series since September when I finally got the O channel (they repeat all the time). I've never seen the Katarina one broadcast yet, and the same ones have been repeating for a while now. I'm hoping hers will be on in February, and hopefully they bring in some new stories since its been the same 5 or so for a while now. Its a good series. Brief looks at their Olympic careers and their life beyond the O's.

Thanks for posting that link; that was an absolute joy to watch and a great trip down memory lane. Switch your subtitles on though if you need to as she's speaking in German throughout. You get a great sense of just how much skating - and winning - meant to her. It's clear from her own reminiscences that she relishes those memories. Her competitive spirit is alive and well!! She is still, to my mind at least, one of the very greatest competitors that skating has ever seen.
