Johnny Weir appeared on NBC's "Chasing Gold" on Dec. 13, 2025 (the week after the Grand Prix Final) to preview the top USA skaters heading into the 2026 Milano-Cortina Olympics: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fybDbbqiHMg

Both Johnny and Tara appeared on NBC's "New York Live" 2 weeks ago to promote their upcoming broadcast appearances:

They are contestants in Season 4 of the "The Traitors" [US version], hosted by Alan Cumming in Scotland (New Season on Peacock starts streaming on January 8, 2026) - Off The Beaten Path subforum thread for the show: https://www.fsuniverse.net/forum/threads/the-traitors.112480/page-3#post-6856188

"Scotland is the destination star of NBC's show Extra Mile Club, which sees luxury travel advisors from Global Travel Collection compete to create the best itinerary possible for their clients: ice skating Olympians Tara Lipinski and Johnny Weir."

Re-posting here:
I’m just going to plop this here instead of creating a new thread but Johnny Weir is on watch what happens live tomorrow, Tuesday. I suppose he’s probably promoting the traitors and also the Olympics.
Tara was on the TODAY Show on Jan. 16, 2026: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pgsk60FXpoI
Olympic gold medalist and NBC Olympics figure skating analyst Tara Lipinski joins TODAY to talk about the anticipation surrounding the star-studded U.S. figure skating team at the 2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Games and the athletes to look out for, including “Quad God” Ilia Malinin. “I’ve never seen anything like it. It’s man on the moon type stuff,” she says.

Johnny’s off to Milan (less luggage this time? ;)):

Surprised I’m saying this, but I actually think Johnny & Tara have been doing a fairly decent job this Olympics? Yeah they’ve had a few mess-ups, such as Johnny not knowing that DS/D were dropping the back flip, and I could do without Tara’s OTT fangirling of Danny O’Shea, but in general I think they’ve been pretty decent and had some good insights—especially considering they’ve been on the air a LOT. Johnny has toned down his criticality, which can be too much sometimes, and I feel like they’ve been fairly kind-spirited toward the lower-ranked competitors. Note: I’ve been watching the USA/NBC feed for the better score tracker.

Same - the choice was easy, especially when they took away the actual commentary from Belinda unless watching in Multiview (I could do without Ollie).

I think they've been fairly supportive of all of the skaters and there hasn't been much snark at all.
