From what I have read, the Fukushima nuclear plant still has a long way to go to make that area safe. They are using robots, but even the robots are "dying" from the radioactivity. So prayers and support are still very much needed. It reminds me of the cleanup effort after 9/11. It is a heroic effort but after so long I would imagine it is lonely and dreary. I hope the plant's workers and all those affected by the tsujami/earthquake are heartened by the continuing encouragement they receive from their country -- not least its figure skaters.
