The ISU's event page for 2020 Nebelhorn Trophy (Sept. 23-26 in Oberstdorf GER) has links to the Competition Announcement and Information Guide: https://www.isu.org/figure-skating/...ail/12626/-/nebelhorn-trophy?templateParam=11
Ditto for the federation's event page: https://www.eislauf-union.de/events/nebelhorn-trophy
Due to the ********* restrictions, Nebelhorn Trophy will take place without audience.

The Announcement for Budapest Trophy (Challenger Series) has gone up - a mere two days before federations have to get their initial entries-by-number in, which is terribly helpful.

They've got a couple of extra days to send in entries-by-number for the attached junior competition, though.

What are Hungary's current requirements for quarantines etc? If they're still quite restrictive they may not get many entries, or may even have to cancel.

^^^ Thanks, I was about to post the Budapest Trophy Announcement here too. :D

Re-posting this Nebelhorn Trophy update here:
Nebelhorn Trophy published the new guidelines

As known without audience;
World wide stream is promised as well as TV Asahi for JPN.

Finlandia Trophy was cancelled on Aug. 20:
The FFSA regrets that the event as such cannot be organized, but is ready to conduct the competition virtually. The possibility of organizing a virtual competition is currently being negotiated. The event should be streamed to viewers as well.
– We are sad that we will not be able to host this popular competition, but after careful consideration, this was the best solution to ensure the safety of top skaters, officials, volunteers and the public. However, we are curious and eager to organize the event using digital technology, sums up Outi Wuorenheimo, the general secretary of the Finnish Figure Skating Association.
The Finnish Figure Skating Association will inform more about process later.

IATA (airline organization) maintains a website that purports to reveal whether a passenger with specified citizenship/passport and travel history will be admitted to a given country. I cannot vouch for the accuracy of the database that powers the tool, but the airlines really need accurate info on this subject, because they have to fly the traveler back home if he is not admitted to the destination country.

https://www.iatatravelcentre.com/

This is what the website says about getting into Hungary from the US with a US passport in early September:

"Passengers are subject to medical screening and quarantine for 14 days...This does not apply to passengers with 2 separate medical certificates with a negative Coronavirus (COVID-19) PCR test result issued at most 5 days before arrival."

Those regulations could obviously change at any moment. In fact, I read something (somewhere...) about a tightening of the the entry procedures on or about Sept 1, but no specifics were provided.
