Bumping this thread up because the event organizers have set up a survey to gauge potential interest in hosting the competition as they continue to monitor YKW.

I'm biased (she is a friend of mine!) but this is a great step forward for adult skaters across the globe. Beth is an exceptionally talented skater with deep technical knowledge, love of the sport, and really understands the needs of adult skaters.

It is probably a good idea for any club or competition organiser to do surveys these days to see what the interest is. I did see this survey go around an adult skater FB page in Australia. I hope they can get enough interest.

The Ottawa event for this year has been postponed:

Dear Skaters,

The Local Organizing Committee for the 2020 International Adult Figure Skating Competition in Ottawa, Canada (scheduled for Oct. 6 – 10, 2020) announced today that it has decided to postpone the competition due to the ongoing COVID19 crisis.

This competition will be rescheduled in Ottawa for October 2021. Further details TBA.
