HAVE YOU EVER THOUGHT OF OR IMAGINED YOURSELF GETTING A SKATING PARTNER SOMEDAY?

Say, I don't think we've talked about this for a while...But has anyone here besides me ever thought of (or imagined) themselves getting a Skating Partner someday? Please include if it would be for Pairs or Ice-Dance.

I had a ice dance partner, but only because we took the same set of group lessons and then decided to keep working together.
It's very difficult for adult skaters, especially women, to find a skating partner, so I was very lucky.

It's nice to have a partner, but not having a partner doesn't mean you can't be an ice dancer. Most adult ice dancers only have a partner (their coach or a hired partner) when they take a dance test.

I was very lucky to have had a dance partner as an adult. We competed together for five years. It’s very satisfying to work together with someone on a mutual goal, and much different than skating solo or on a synchro team. I enjoyed it.
