For Each Decade of Your Life—One Favorite TV Show

I don't know if everyone found the Gilmore Girls unlikable back in the day and just didn't have Internet to share it, or if they used to find them likable and then changed their minds.
I loved it back in the day but hated the newest one. I haven’t rewatched the old one, so who knows. I rarely re-watch shows unless it is fairly shortly after. Buffy, Six Feet Under, Freaks and Geeks and FNL being the exception for older shows.

So I just watched the "Mrs. Maisel" finale and came back here to say, they stuck the landing. Good for them. (y) I thought maybe the structure of the episode could have been stronger -- although offhand I can't say how I would have strengthened it, so maybe I shouldn't talk :) -- but overall it was funny and suspenseful and heartfelt and satisfying.

See, this is why I can't quit the Palladinos no matter how much they bug me. Because they have this in them.

I dont know what decade, because I watched in reruns - Charmed.

How could we ever forget Stacy and Clinton in What Not to Wear? I loved that show.

I liked the British version with Trinny and Susannah. I had my only mid-life crisis when I was watching the show one evening and melted down. I wonder if this happens mid-40's to others or if it was just me.

I guess I'm going to break the rules here because there is just too many shows that I liked. I'll try to start from the earliest, that is if I can get them in the right order.

The more I watch it, the more I think Emily is the least insufferable Gilmore

In fact, I felt the most sympathy for the conservative grandmother. :shuffle:
I just finished binge-watching the final season of The Marvellous Mrs. Maisel, and the Palladinos really know how to cast parents. I'd always loved Edward Hermann, the grandfather, but Kelly Bishop and Marin Hinkle were perfect as those mothers.

I was surprised by the ending of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, but that was my lack of understanding of the character, despite all of the signs being in 578-point type.
