Football Euro-2024, June 14 - July 14

German public transport in a nutshell

Some Austrian fans didn't even make it in time earlier today because our trains suck.

Deutsche Bahn: 2
UEFA: 0

So far.

And I am not even counting the knife attacks and murders committed during the Euros so far.

Now the whole world will finally see how ****ed up Doucheland actually is. And I am so here for it.

Maybe you should move somewhere that will make you happy because being “here” for knife attacks and murders suggests to me that you are not well.

I was in Stuttgart last night (to go see a documentary on the German artistics gymnastics as part of a documentary movie festival) , but on a non-game day, there seemed to be more police-officers than football fans  Guess it would be different tonight!
We walked by the "Fan-Zone" though, since our event was directly next to it. Generelly there didn't seem to be any chaos due to the football, just 500% more security.

Croatia evens it up at 1-1, and then an Albania own goal makes it 2-1. I like Croatia, but also like rooting for the underdogs.

In the othe matches today:
Croatia and Albania drawing 2-2 was a surprise. Germany over Hungary 2-0.

Can someone explain what the point of the off side rule is? Seems to me it’s just there to stop teams scoring goals which is something that would make the sport infinitely more interesting. :shuffle:

Not really. If this rule does not exist, then each team will have a different playing strategy. And I’m sure that we won’t see the game as such.
