Who will retire?

Maybe, but they had a great season really and improved their scores. Maybe they feel like they can climb more, they could possible get two spots for Germany at Euros. There are other teams I think should read the room and retire before them, particular G/F :X3:
Oh, no doubt! GuigFab and ReedAmbru are much higher up on the list of "read the room & retire" teams for me too! Those two in particular might be even higher than FBCiz and we all know how much I don't like FBCiz, lol.

Was it an ig stroy? I don't see anything on their accounts
It might have been something on FB. It was about them withdrawing from Worlds but they said they were planning on competing next season.

That programme was bad but they also gave us the bubbly bong RD, one of the more memorable programmes from the last Olympic season.

I'll be surprised if they are continuing. There are more than enough challenges to the life of a mid-pack ice dancer even when you don't have a small child and no funding. At the beginning of the season they seemed to have that "this is the last time" energy, but I guess that was before he got sick at Euros and had an Olympic twizz-aster.

Did people expect V/M to return in 2018?

I think now most would expect FB/C to be back the season before Nice. As front runners.

I guess it depends a lot on what their plans are for after skating. LFB would be in her later thirties if she were to come back or stay in for 4 years. I would like to see more from them and personally hope they do a year or two more.

I think the German team might not have decided yet. I thought they had something in the interview after Worlds about staying for next season, but Jennifers recent IG posts is very cryptical on the future... she made a long emotional post about Worlds and their season, but doesn´t say anything about the future. I mean if they already had decided to stick around, i´m sure she would have added something like "looking forward to next season" etc. in the end. However, the post it´s not a retirement post either.

I doubt that LaLa will retire yet but another factor is that Zach is such an accomplished musician. After winning Junior Worlds and starting out strong in seniors, they now have had a number of headscratching results. I would not be surprised if he has begun wondering if skating is the best place for him to invest so much time, effort, money.

Five teams that they beat at Worlds 2024 have passed them. And only one of those, R/A, is likely to retire. LaLa need a revamp more than any elite team, and I hope they get it.

Oh, honestly. They were pumped up in the World standings competing at home in Montreal. (Not to mention that a message was probably being sent to F-B&S). If we ignore skating-at-home seasons, we don't need to get all freaked out about teams being passed. L&L have been right around where Carreira & Ponomarenko were ever since coming out of juniors & they still are.
