Claudia and her team had such a kitsch, campy sensibility. I vaguely remember The London Times stating what she was skated too that year when the European Championships were in Birmingham.

I think Leistner fell on the wrong end of the generational shift that was happening in the 1980s moving away from medleys (she did American Traditional Medley for the 1988 short and Movie medley for 1988 long program) and more towards single piece/theme programs.
