Good.
One less team to face away from during their bows.As expected, Wang/Liu has been replaced by Chen/Xing. Wonder which "disease" Liu suddenly gets this time.
This is probably the worst time in Chinese figure skating. We got the worst result in WC in history and the officials in the sports authority started to “abandon” figure skating.Rumors said that Yongchao Yang retired and joined a local club as a coach in Beijing.
What about Wang/Zhu?Yang/Deng number two senior pair team now??....
Yang/Deng are outscoring them now. Wang/Zhu have always struggled to get positive GOEs on their lifts, and were falling on spins and crashing into each other on their SBS jumps at the NWG... Their recent performances remind me very much of Zhao/Liu and their downwards trajectory earlier this season before splitting/retiring.What about Wang/Zhu?
I believe they were just pairing up for shows with no intention to compete together. She's also almost as tall as he is...Jia(The giant misogynistic baby)Ziqi/Zhao Wantong
They are Team Wang Jialei (Chinese Samba school and Chinese Eteri LOL).Seems there is some investment, at least at provincial team level.
Hope you guys are feeling bit less gloom and doom, btw, I felt gutted for your team and you fans. They are Team Wang Jialei (Chinese Samba school and Chinese Eteri LOL).
Training in Coach Higuchi's rink is a good choice IMO.
He's been there since the end of March.Yudong Chen is back training at Great Park Ice in Irvine, CA: https://www.instagram.com/reel/C6XKz-FPK-K/
Zhang/Yang will attend the pair skating training camp later this week, so the rumor of their split-up turns out to be wrong.Rumors said that Yongchao Yang retired and joined a local club as a coach in Beijing.
I wish they wouldn't, given all that surfaced with IAM.
Chinese Junior Ice dance team Xiao Zixi/He Linghao are now officially training in IAM.
I believe they pay most of the fees by themselves, not the China Fed.I wish they wouldn't, given all that surfaced with IAM.
But it's good that, despite all the despair, Chinese skating clearly shows investment.
Surely the provincial team will pay some of it?I believe they pay most of the fees by themselves, not the China Fed.
That's for sure. But Xiao is rich and she can pay the full fees. She got the IAM's choreography and went to Montreal a couple of times at her own expense last season.Surely the provincial team will pay some of it?
LOL. Dowry situation for He Linghao then...That's for sure. But Xiao is rich and she can pay the full fees. She got the IAM's choreography and went to Montreal a couple of times at her own expense last season.
That’s Lakernik’s project that he started last year: https://globalskatingacademy.com/https://www.instagram.com/gsa_figure.skating GSA Figure Skating (Whatever it is) is holding summer camp in Beijing?
I spy Lakernik and Dudakov there...
From my sources, It seems that only Lin/Gao and Xiao/He(Or Liu/Ge?)will be saved, most of the teams, including Chen/Xing, Li/Wang, have to end their partnership and pair up with the other skaters. No matter how desperate the current situation of Chinese FS is, the Chinese drama is always there.
Some insiders say that there will be a big swap in most of the Chinese Ice dance teams.
So the Jilin teams are spared, but not the Heilongjiang ones? From my sources, It seems that only Lin/Gao and Xiao/He(Or Liu/Ge?)will be saved, most of the teams, including Chen/Xing, Li/Wang, have to end their partnership and pair up with the other skaters.
