Blake's 7 actor, Gareth Thomas, has passed away

Sadly, Gareth Thomas, star of the 1970's BBC TV series has died of heart failure

Whilst he will be best remember as the star of Blake's 7, he also worked quite extensively for the Royal Shakespeare Company.

He was also superb in Children of the Stones, Knights of God, How Green Was My Valley, and Morgan's Boy

I have to say that I'm getting completely fed up of 2016, and the number of great people who have passed away

I've never heard of Blake's 7 and it sounds like the show had quite a following. May the gentleman RIP.
