Anna Duskova / Martin Bidar split announced; both aim to continue with new partners

Yes, Antipova's dad was fighting for Lubov rather than his daughter, keep up with your wack theories.

I hope Russia doesn't release athletes to countries that wanted Russia to be banned from winter games, why would you release to these countries. The attitude is like, now that we got our Russian, lets ban Russians so that our Russian wins medal.

No he was fighting with the Federation for his daughter but Federation might have thought her father would bring up Lubov's situation as it was same club, same coach, same partner.

Duskova confirmed to Amina Atakhanova in the comments of this post that her new partner is Radek Jakubka. The video clip shows them doing a death spiral.

He's young but has good size (at least lower body) and I assume new to pairs?
Watched a vid from last fall on JGP singles. Boy can jump.

I guess this will be a process to teach him the discipline. Let's see what they can do in the 2019-20 season.

ETA: Seems he went to world juniors in pairs last year. So this isn't new to him. Nice! Let's see what they do!

He is not new to pairs. He skated last year with someone, but either novice or not so strong junior. I am not sure if it would make sense for them to stay this season in juniors to give him time to catch up, but then again, considering she is going to miss the whole season anyway, it won’t make any difference. It is a pity he can’t learn things by himself while she is recovering. Many elements are about timing, so there is no point having someone temporarily while working on the elements.

I had totally forgot that Martin hadn't announced a new partnership.

Good luck to Hanna & Martin as they begin their pairs career together.

Are Anna/Radek entered in anything upcoming in the fall?

Radek has back-to-back singles Junior Grand Prix's over the next 2 weeks.

Anna Duskova wrote on IG back in June after surgery that she "had ruptured ligament in my knee again" and in her IG post linked in post #122 above and dated July 14 she wrote "I miss skating so much already and there are still 5 long months ahead with no skating"

Update on Abrazhevich/Bidar
https://de-de.facebook.com/notes/cz...vní-závod-pojedou-v-záhřebu/1914026365313046/

They are coached by Martin's brother Petr, and are currently in RUS working with Nina Mozers's group.
They just finished choreo and plan to debut at Golden Spin in Zagreb, followed by Nationals in December.
Euros is not out of questionl but they try to give it a slow start.
(That's what google translate says, maybe someone fluent might give more details)

Kick ass Martin :respec:

I hope it works out well for both of them in their new partnerships. I'm really looking forward to Anna and her new partner. He has some good skills as a single skater and if he can learn the pair skills, they may do very well.
