A QUESTION ABOUT ENTERING THE ICE

Say, I was wondering about this...Do Skaters or any of you guys enter the Ice facing the Boards and stepping backward? I know I do. Does anyone else here?

Stepping onto the ice really depends on what you are comfortable with. There’s no right or wrong way to do it.

What @purple skates said. Although if it's a busy session with lots of skaters on the ice, it might be safer to face forward and step forward, so that you can see the other skaters and don't run into anyone.
