2026 US Nationals Women's FS "Liu Monsters go Gaga"

This might be the strongest Ladies team the US has ever sent to the Olympics.
I dunno... 1992 with Yamaguchi, Harding & Kerrigan coming in after sweeping Worlds the year before and finishing 1st, 4th & 3rd is pretty hard to top. And 2002 with Kwan, Hughes & Cohen was also super-strong. This team definitely rivals both of those teams, though.

I must confess. I am grudgingly willing to admit when I'm wrong, and I was so spectacularly wrong about this quad. Three years ago, I'm pretty sure I was literally laughing at people saying thisistheyearAmbergetsittogether. I'd just cackle like a maniac. And now here we are and not only is Amber the undisputed Queen of Nationals. And not only did she win, she won against some fierce competition. Any other year, any of the top five would have been worthy winners. And NOT ONLY was I wrong, I am now unwittingly an actual fan. I didn't want to be a fan, but now I am, damnit. I'm the same way to a lesser extent about Isabeau. I was neutral about Isabeau until this year. I've always liked Alysa and Bradie.

I will say this--if I ever become a major fan of Sarah, start me on Prevagen. Or signs of alien invasion.

Imagine if we'd have had the Boston crowd for this event. You wouldn't be able to hear the announcers.

I'm very much where you are in the first paragraph - but I'm also living for it because it feels so great to have such a STRONG field of women after the past two decades filled with more promise unfulfilled than ever fulfilled.

And we'll check back in with you about your feelings on Sarah in 2030! ;)
